Titans RB Chris Johnson Claims to be Victim of Racial Profiling After Surprise Visit From Police
Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson believes he was the victim of racial profiling after police showed up at his condo on Tuesday for no reason while a television production crew was there. Now, the Pro Bowl running back is pretty upset over the matter and recently expressed his opinions about the matter over Twitter .
According to Johnson’s Twitter page, police showed up at his condo on Tuesday while he was conducting a television shoot for MTV. Johnson claims police were checking to see if there was any drug activity going on due to all of the traffic coming in and out of the condo complex. And according to an article from TMZ.com, the Orlando Police Department showed up to Johnson’s condo after receiving an anonymous tip about the “high-end” cars coming in and out of the complex.
Here’s what Johnson posted on his Twitter account about the incident:
“Y did the police just walk in my condo saying they think it’s drug activity because it’s alot of traffic but it was the MTV camera crew.”
“Hard being young, black, and rich.”
It should be noted Johnson’s last tweet had an extra word on the end–but it’s too explicit for the content of this article.
